Overview
Our client is a well known organisation that produces a wide range of customised products, specifically, carrier bags, fruit and vegetable bags, garbage bags and freezer bags.
Responsibilities
Repairs, breakdowns and maintenance of conveyor belts.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the maintenance function.
Implement and follow preventative maintenance tasks.
Requirements
Formal trade qualification as a Fitter or Machinist.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work safely and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with production and other maintenance staff.
Positive, proactive attitude with excellent communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
