About the Role
The Cardiology Department provides a suite of cardiac diagnostic testing, including CRMD implantation and testing, cardiac electrophysiology, cardiac catheterisation laboratory procedures and non‐invasive electro‐cardiography‐based testing.
Under the direction and supervision of Senior Cardiac Physiologists, the Graduate Cardiac Physiologist will be involved in the performance of invasive and non‐invasive cardiology diagnostic testing. Responsibilities include performing ECGs, exercise stress tests and Holter monitoring for inpatient and outpatient services, as well as exposure to cardiac catheterisation laboratory procedures and cardiac implantable electronic device management.
Pre‐Employment Requirements
* National Police Check.
* Current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011.
* Compliance with the Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
* Compliance with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
