WAREHOUSE MANAGER
Leading manufacturing & supplier of fire protection products are seeking an experienced and well rounded Warehouse Manager to join their ever-growing team in their new premises in Caringbah.
Reporting into the ANZ Operations Manager you will be responsible and accountable for managing the production & warehouse functions, supervise staff and motivate the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Supervise and support a small team
* Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and high performance.
* Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback.
* Oversee warehouse activities in a production environment to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
* Monitor workflow and adjust resources to meet targets and deadlines.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
* Develop and refine SOPs and work instructions.
* Lead initiatives to improve accuracy, quality, and operational efficiency
* Manage inventory levels, stock movements, sales order picks, conduct stock takes, and manage the warehouse organisation.
* Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery.
* Drive a quality-first mindset across the operation.
* Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high standards.
* Investigate and resolve quality issues promptly.
* Track & report KPI's in excel or similar format
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience in mechanical/electrical manufacturing operations environment is highly regarded
* Proven experience in a similar hands-on warehouse or operations role.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage small teams.
* Demonstrated success in improving operational processes and driving efficiency
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Solid understanding of warehouse and manufacturing workflows.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Forklift license (Essential).
* Excel intermediate, ERP experience (MYOB or Business Central)
SALARY: $110-120K + Super
