Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Mental Health Intensive Care Unit (MHICU). The successful candidate will provide clinical management and treatment of patients under their care, within the scope of practice endorsed by the Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee.
The MHICU provides intensive assessment and management of consumers requiring mental health care who exhibit acute and high levels of clinical risk. As the Unit Clinical Director, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and maintaining mental health services of the highest possible quality and safety for MHICU consumers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in clinical management and treatment of patients with complex mental health needs
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop and maintain high-quality mental health services
* Demonstrated expertise in psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
