Job summary:

We are seeking an organised and efficient Administration Officer to join our mining exploration company.

This position is 16 hours a week, maternity leave coverage from mid-November 2025 to the end of February 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage general office administration, including correspondence, filing, and record keeping.

· Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reporting for field staff.

· Assist with procurement and inventory management of office and field supplies.

· Prepare and distribute communications and reports.

· Format reports and documents.

· Organise and manage routine housekeeping activities such as contract cleaners, gardeners etc for Site Office and Fetch rental properties.

· Provide reception duties and greet and induct visitors as needed.

· Assist with basic financial tasks such as processing invoices, contacting local suppliers (e.g. IGA).

· Assist with logistics tasks such as driving visitors onto leases, picking up or dropping off people from Mt Isa, picking up equipment or supplies from Mt Isa.

Requirements:

· Located in Cloncurry or close enough to enable daily driving to and from site office (located in Cloncurry).

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word.

· Robust organisational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

· Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.

· Valid C class driver's license (manual).

· National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain before commencement of employment.

· Recent Mining medical or willingness to obtain before commencement of employment.

Desired Qualifications:

· Administrative experience in mining, quarrying, construction or related industries.

· Experience with procurement, inventory or bookkeeping systems.

· Willingness and desire to learn about mining exploration and grow skills and capabilities.

· Certificate or diploma in business administration or related field.

This is a part-time position, 16 hours per week. You will be joining a workplace that offers a supportive, welcoming culture where your efforts will be valued. Fetch is a mix of local and FIFO employees.
