About the Role
As the HR Manager, you will be expected to provide advice throughout the Australian faction of the business, regarding HR policies and procedures. You will be responsible for the key functions of the full employee life cycle, providing solutions to complex people matters and maintaining a positive employee experience within the organisation. You will have experience working in a management level position and feel confident working autonomously in this role.
Duties
The HR Manager will be responsible for:
* Delivering the key functions of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, inductions, learning and development, annual performance reviews and development cycles.
* Providing advice to the senior leadership team and managers throughout the organisation regarding organisational changes, policies and other HR matters.
* Overseeing workplace health and safety policies, working with site managers to ensure policies are adhered to.
* Working with the global HR Managers to ensure consistency with the organisation's policies and values.
* Facilitating ER processes and managing ER cases accordingly.
* Maintaining the delivery of HR programs.
You will be required to travel to Brisbane 3-4 times per year to meet with the senior leadership team within the organisation.
Skills & Experience
To succeed within this role, you must have:
* Demonstrated experience working within a HR Management role.
* Experience managing staff.
* Qualifications in Human Resource Management or similar.
* Understanding of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and relevant Awards.
* Understanding of the HR landscape, including ER/IR legislation and practices.
* Have full working rights in Australia.
