About the Role
As a machine operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating machinery, ensuring accurate loading and unloading procedures.
You may also be required to act as a loader, driver, or other roles depending on business needs and team requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to think proactively, stay organized, and work hard.
Key responsibilities include conducting pre-start checks on equipment and machinery, reporting any faults to your manager or supervisor immediately, and verifying tags on bundles before loading.
* Ensure produced product is within tolerances and bundled/packed safely.
* Operate machinery and use relevant equipment safely, following guidelines.
* Communicate effectively with staff to maintain a productive, cost-effective, and safe worksite.
* Safely unload Goods Inwards Deliveries and verify accuracy of paperwork.
Requirements
The successful applicant will have:
* Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or production.
* A current forklift license.
* Physical ability to lift products and work standing up for most of the workday.
