As a
Purchasing Officer
at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities in line with Wilmar's established policies and procedures. You will play a key role in ensuring purchasing processes are efficient, compliant, and support the operational needs of the business. We're looking for motivated, knowledgeable individuals who are eager to contribute to a dynamic purchasing team within a growing and forward-thinking company.

Your Role in Action
Purchase Requisition Management:
Ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase requisitions, including securing the required approvals and authorisations for purchase orders.
Team Collaboration & Service Delivery:
Work collaboratively with the Purchasing Team to maintain high standards and continuously improve procedures, ensuring the timely procurement of goods and services that meet customer service expectations.
Cost Management & Supplier Evaluation:
Review supplier quotes and identify cost-effective alternatives to help reduce overall procurement costs while maintaining quality.
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by actively participating in initiatives that enhance team performance and operational efficiency.
Compliance & Risk Mitigation:
Adhere to established accounting policies, procedures, and systems to meet audit requirements and minimise business risk.
Your Winning Combination
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in purchasing, along with strong proficiency in MS Suite and SAP. You'll thrive in a team-oriented environment and bring a demonstrated ability to take initiative, collaborate effectively, and communicate with clarity and professionalism.
