Director of Asset Management
$150,000 – $200,000 + Superannuation
A well-established and growing property group is seeking an experienced Director of Asset Management to oversee a diverse portfolio of retail, commercial, and mixed-use assets.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership position, taking over from a long-standing executive who will be retiring after more than two decades with the business. The role offers the chance to manage established assets while also playing a key role in shaping the strategy and performance of a significant future development pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the strategic management and performance of a mixed-use property portfolio
* Oversee retail, commercial, and associated building assets
* Chair and coordinate building management and body corporate committees
* Work closely with property management and operational teams to optimise asset performance
* Contribute to the planning and structuring of upcoming development assets
* Provide strategic oversight of a large-scale development pipeline, including:
o ~16,000 sqm retail
o ~9,000 sqm commercial
o 900+ residential dwellings
* Support group-level initiatives including insurance, legal, and operational frameworks
* Collaborate with internal teams involved in sales, leasing, and property management
About You
* Extensive experience in asset management within retail, commercial, or mixed-use property
* Strong financial and strategic asset management capabilityExperience managing complex property portfolios or precinct-style developments
* Ability to work across multiple stakeholders including property managers, committees, and development teams
* Exposure to development projects or growing property portfolios highly regarded
