About the role
The Supervisor works within a team environment to deliver the strategic objectives of Gambara by coordinating and supervising the team of Field Technicians.
Youll work closely with the Operations Coordinator and Team Leader, to ensure the efficient and safe undertaking of works and maintenance duties across the company. You will also be asked to contribute to the planning, prioritisation and scheduling of works and be able to undertake administrative and record keeping duties.
This is a hands-on role which will involve on the ground vegetation management and support services, as well as overseeing the operation and maintenance of company plant and equipment.
This role will be full time hours Monday to Friday.
Duties
1. Ensuring all scope requirements are understood by all staff and team leaders.
2. Performing frequent site visits to jobs that require additional guidance, quality control, and/or assistance
3. Client Interaction- Representing Gambara at a high level with on-site visits with clients to implement any scope changes, general quality control/inspections, and quoting requirements
4. Comply with health & safety legislations, including demonstrating duty of care for your team
5. Provide leadership and direction to the team of Field Technicians
6. Managing the maintenance of vehicles and equipment requirements
7. Provide detailed records and undertake administrative tasks relative to safety & onsite activities.
8. Possess a high level of organisation skills to achieve target outcomes.
Essential Criteria
9. Current Manual Drivers Licence
10. Experience in environmental restoration practices & revegetation
11. Previous Team Leader or Supervisor role
12. Project coordination skills
13. Workplace Health & Safety management experience
14. Previous experience in Landscaping, planting or Weed Control
