Job Opportunity:
The role of Information Services Support Officer involves delivering high-quality technical support and contributing to the smooth operation of IT systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing helpdesk support, managing network and application accounts, tracking workload, collaborating with internal and external personnel, documenting procedures, and procuring and configuring desktop hardware and software.
* Provide frontline helpdesk support for hardware/software issues.
* Manage network and application accounts.
* Track workload and queue via ticketing system.
* Collaborate with internal and external IT personnel.
* Document procedures and solutions to common technical problems.
* Procure, install, and configure desktop hardware and software.
Key requirements include proven experience in providing helpdesk support in an IT environment, strong knowledge of desktop hardware and software maintenance, familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Office applications, and email systems, basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system maintenance, virtual server environments, and remote desktop.
Preferred qualifications include completion of a course in Information Technology, tertiary qualifications in IT, training in Microsoft operating systems and applications, and training in cloud-based enterprise solutions.
