Responsibilities
- Take operational responsibility for the hotel in the absence of the General Manager.
- Act as Approved Manager on Duty in line with liquor licensing requirements.
- Work across all departments, with a strong focus on Front Desk and Food & Beverage.
- Lead, support, and assist the team in a hands-on capacity.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Confidence to lead and guide the team across all hotel departments.
- Previous hotel experience (Duty Manager or similar role preferred).
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and remain calm in emergencies.
- Professional presentation and high personal standards.
- A natural ability to create authentic human connections with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Passion for training, supervising, and motivating the team.
- Opera Cloud experience highly regarded.
Key Requirements
- Current (or ability to obtain) Approved Manager’s Licence.
- Current (or ability to obtain) Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia (sponsorship not available).
- Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
