As the Schools Officer, Grounds and Facilities you will contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the school by providing a high level of grounds and facilities to the Principal, Business Manager or nominated delegate.

About The Role Grounds and Garden Maintenance
* Maintain school ovals, lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas
* Undertake mowing, watering, weeding, fertilising, and planting
* Maintain outdoor sporting facilities and external areas
* Support improvement and enhancement of school grounds
Maintenance and Operational Support
* Perform minor repairs to fences, paving, gates, and irrigation systems
* Maintain and operate grounds equipment and machinery
* Assist with waste management and removal
* Support agricultural or outdoor learning programs where required
Safety and Compliance
* Follow Workplace Health and Safety procedures
* Safely handle and store chemicals and equipment
* Maintain a safe and tidy work environment
About You
We are seeking a proactive team member who demonstrates:
* Experience or practical skills in grounds or property maintenance
* Ability to operate and maintain grounds equipment
* Strong awareness of workplace health and safety practices
* Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
* Commitment to maintaining a high-quality school environment
* Eligibility to obtain a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
