We are seeking a vibrant and organised Demi Chef. You will be passionate about creating amazing food, working efficiently and effectively, highly motivated and a true hospitality professional. You will perfectly complement our brand new, unique, hip venue!
All about the role:
* Responsible for menu preparation and ensuring adequate supplies are available for service
* Liaise with the Front of House team regarding the availability of menu items, additions to the menu and any relevant changes
* Maintain excellent presentation standards and cost control whilst maintaining recipe standards
* Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage
* Keep all working areas clean and tidy & ensuring all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned to OHS standards
All about you:
* Previous experience as a Demi Chef
* Trade qualified
* Previous French culinary experience will be highly regarded
* Great communication skills
* Ability to maintain high and consistent standards
* Excellent organisational skills & grooming standards
* Ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP requirements
* Flexibility to work mornings and evening including weekends and public holidays
* Full working rights in Australia
