The role of Maternal-Fetal Medicine Advanced Trainee/Certification O&G Ultrasound is a highly rewarding opportunity for medical professionals to contribute to the health and well-being of women, babies, and children in South Australia.
As an Advanced Trainee, you will be responsible for providing clinical services under consultant supervision, primarily focusing on Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Certification O&G Ultrasound. Your duties will include assessing new admissions or obstetric unit consultations, coordinating care, managing patient progress, and ensuring timely discharge and follow-up arrangements.
You will also participate in emergency and routine patient care procedures, working under the supervision consistent with your level of training and experience. Additionally, you will demonstrate commitment to clinical teaching and participate in associated research projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* MBBS or equivalent qualification
* Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration
* Clinical skills appropriate for the duties performed in the work unit
* Ability to work effectively as a team member in a multi-disciplinary environment
* Advanced Trainee progressing towards Fellowship of the RANZCOG
