Master Scheduler - AI Transformation Program
* Contract Duration: 12‑Month Contract (high likelihood of extension)
* Daily Rate: Up to $1,000 + Super

A major, household‑name Australian financial services group, known for its national insurance and banking presence is undertaking one of its largest ever transformation initiatives. As part of this multi‑year AI and customer‑focused transformation program, we are seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to support large‑scale delivery across a rapidly expanding portfolio of squads.
About the Program
* This is a high‑visibility AI‑driven transformation within a leading insurer and bank, focused on the safe, scalable, and effective adoption of AI across customer and claims environments.
* Currently 15 squads, scaling to 41 squads over the next 15 months
* Backed by senior executives with strong investment and organisational support
* The programme is only five months into a three‑year roadmap, making this an exceptional time to join during a major scale‑up phase.
The Opportunity
As the Master Scheduler, you will be responsible for the creation, ownership, and maintenance of the program‑level master schedule, consolidating delivery plans from more than a dozen squads and ensuring alignment across a highly dynamic delivery landscape.
You will work closely with:
* Senior Delivery Leads
* Scrum Masters
* Program Steering Committee
You'll sit within Enterprise Delivery & Enablement Division while supporting the operational rhythm of the program.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and maintain the master schedule using MS Project
* Consolidate inputs from multiple squads into a cohesive programme view
* Ensure timelines, dependencies, and critical paths remain accurate and achievable
* Support Senior Delivery Leads with schedule assurance and risk identification
* Work with Scrum Masters to align delivery cadence with programme expectations
* Provide structured, clear schedule reporting into the Steering Committee
* Engage effectively across a broad stakeholder landscape with varying styles
Skills & Experience
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Experience within insurance, banking, or financial services technology advantageous
* Comfortable engaging in financial and governance‑related discussions
* Technology exposure beneficial, though deep technical expertise is not required
