The ideal candidate will assist with the weekly casual end-to-end payroll processes, provide expert advice and support internal teams, contributing to a smooth and positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process and report weekly and fortnightly payroll
* Review, process and code casual timesheets
* Provide payroll guidance and communicate policies to internal customers
* Ensure payroll system accuracy and data up-to-date
* Maintain accurate employee records and related reporting requirements
* Support leave and other reporting needs for the finance team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Substantial experience in similar roles, preferably within an educational environment
* In-depth knowledge of Employment Awards and National Employment Standards
* Demonstrated expertise in working with payroll systems and manual processing
* Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
