The Ensham operation consists of a highly productive UG bord & pillar mine and an open cut mine that is now a major rehabilitation project, with current production levels of 4 million tonnes per annum. Ensham has been a valued contributor to the Emerald community since 1993.
How you will contribute:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Sourcing Professional with the ability to demonstrate an excellent understanding of project initiation to contract completion processes in underground and surface coal mining operations. As a key member of the Commercial team, you will be responsible for providing safe and cost-effective procurement services that supports a sustainable mining operation including demonstrated experience and competency relating to:
* Analyzing external spend data and sourcing of prospective suppliers
* Develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategies
* Educating end users on Procurement and Contracts Standard
* Assist key stakeholders in development of the Contract scope
* Compiling of Contract document for issue to tender
* Facilitation of tender process including bid evaluation and selection process
* Drafting internal approval documents, management of the approval process and contract execution
* Monitor and assess supplier performance and auditing of contract health
* Manage stakeholder relationships to maintain quality, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts
· establishment and maintenance of outline agreements and contract administration.
We are looking for a person who has:
* experience in data analysis, tendering, scope drafting, contract formation, negotiation and contract management.
· the ability to work autonomously and to deadlines with a high level of attention to detail and time management
* a strong governance and compliance discipline.
· excellent communication and organisational skills and solid judgement along with decision making skills
