About the role
Stella Products is seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to join our team at our Coopers Plains location. As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations and ensuring the efficient and effective management of our storage and distribution facilities. This is a full-time role within our Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics division.
What you'll be doing
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching goods
* Oversee the warehouse team, providing leadership, direction and support to ensure productivity and performance targets are met
* Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems to minimize stock losses and optimize warehouse space
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
* Liaise with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to coordinate the timely distribution of products
* Monitor and report on key warehouse metrics to drive continuous improvement
What we're looking for
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a warehouse management role, preferably within the Warehousing, Storage & Distribution industry
* Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and logistics
* Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
* Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and data analytics tools
* Demonstrable problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively
* Forklift licence and experience in operating warehouse equipment is essential
