Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including mobility support, personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
* Support individuals in social and community activities, encouraging their participation and promoting independence.
* Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional support as required.
* Implement and monitor care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Promote physical, emotional, and mental well-being through therapeutic activities.
* Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients at all times.
* Record and report client progress and concerns in a professional manner.
* Administer medication as per client requirements and according to prescribed guidelines.
* Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning and organizing, to promote a healthy living environment.
* Foster a positive, supportive, and respectful relationship with clients, their families, and the broader care team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Years of experience in disability support or similar caregiving roles.
* Cert III or IV in Disability Support, Individual Support, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
* Strong understanding of disability rights and experience working with individuals with a range of disabilities.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Compassionate, patient, and understanding with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on people's lives.
* Valid driver's license and own vehicle preferred.
