Job Description
We are seeking part-time Service Support Workers to provide invaluable support by providing general household cleaning, laundry, cooking and social support to our older population with help around their homes.
* Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment
* Able to follow domestic care plans
* Clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
* Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and effectively with the elderly
* A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) will be highly regarded but not required
Qualifications:
* Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle
* A current National Police Certificate
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide general domestic assistance to our older population, including household cleaning, laundry, cooking and social support
2. Assist with daily living tasks and promote independence and well-being
3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families and other stakeholders
4. Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
