As the Finance Manager – ANZ, you'll own the end‑to‑end financial accounting and compliance agenda for our 3 entities. Reporting to a recently promoted Financial Controller, you'll play a critical role in shaping and strengthening robust financial processes, partnering with offshore shared services, and lifting the capability and culture of the ANZ finance team.

Your Day-to-Day
* Own the full end‑to‑end month‑end close process, ensuring accuracy, rigour and timeliness
* Review and maintain balance sheet integrity, including reconciliations, provisions and reserves
* Partner closely with the offshore Shared Services Centre to drive accountability, process clarity and continuous improvement
* Act as the technical accounting lead for ANZ, providing guidance on complex accounting matters
* Ensure full compliance with statutory and tax obligations including income tax, FBT and local reporting requirements
* Prepare and coordinate statutory financial statements
* Liaise with external advisors, auditors and internal stakeholders as needed
* Act as a key SAP user, ensuring accurate financial processing and system integrity
* Identify opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls and improve efficiency
* Translate complex accounting or compliance issues into clear, practical business guidance
* Lead and develop a Financial Accountant through coaching, prioritisation and technical guidance

You'll Bring
* Experience in a product‑based organisation (non‑negotiable)
* Strong technical accounting capability with demonstrated ownership of end‑to‑end month‑end close, balance sheet review & control and hands‑on general accounting delivery
* Proven tax and statutory compliance experience, including income tax, FBT and statutory accounts
* SAP proficiency (must‑have)
* M&A exposure and legal entity consolidation desirable
* Experience navigating US GAAP and IFRS differences
* Strong problem‑solving capability and ability to move from issue → solution quickly
* Ability to simplify complex concepts for finance and non‑finance stakeholders
* High attention to detail with the ability to identify patterns, trends and anomalies
* Collaborative leadership style and ability to influence outcomes without formal authority
