The role of Learning Coordinator is designed to work alongside experienced First Nations educators to develop and implement a comprehensive approach to learning and wellbeing.
This position involves teaching during session delivery, providing guidance, support, and supervision to educators, and contributing to community development initiatives.
Key responsibilities include ensuring that learning experiences prioritize First Nations knowledge systems, developing blended learning approaches, and fostering language and culture learning.
Essential qualifications and skills
* Experience working with First Nations communities and understanding their strengths and challenges.
* Able to live, work, and communicate effectively in remote communities.
* Degree in Education with a minimum 1 year's experience.
* Experience working with early childhood age groups and organizing a learning environment.
* A commitment to a First Nations-led approach in education.
* Strong teamwork, training, and communication skills.
Compensation package
$111,487 - $120,578 AUD per year (Top End - Darwin)
