Canstar is looking for a Research & Product Data Assistant to join the engine room that powers our research and ratings. In this role you will have the opportunity to work across both our Ratings and Data Processing teams, jumping into different projects under the guidance of our expert managers.
If you have a sharp eye for detail and enjoy digging into the data, this is a chance to do meaningful work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Please note that this is a casual role for 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Data Collection and Processing: Perform manual data collection, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Assist in the preparation and processing of data for rating projects and research analysis.
* Document Preparation: Compile and organise research materials, reports, and presentations. Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and readily accessible for the team.
* Desktop Research: Conduct desktop research to support ongoing projects. Gather and summarise information from various sources to aid decision-making and strategy development.
* Collaborative Assistance: Work collaboratively with team members across the Research, Ratings, and Product Data Departments, providing administrative and research support as needed.
* Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control processes to maintain the integrity of data and research outputs.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel and Word, as well as Google Suite, such as Google Docs and Slides, Google Suite, such as Google Docs and Slides.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
* Good communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively.
Desirable Skills:
* Previous experience in data collection or administrative roles is beneficial but not essential.
* Interest in financial products, market research, and data analysis.
* Eagerness to learn and adapt within a fast-paced, evolving industry.
