Project Engineer Infrastructure – Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture
Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV) is a 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer undertaking major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities to support Defence capability for the next 30 years. The role is based at RAAF Base Wagga, Wagga Wagga. This is not a DIDO or FIFO role; applicants must be willing to relocate, be an Australian citizen and be willing to obtain a security clearance.
Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate construction work packages from planning through to completion
* Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring safety, quality, programme and cost targets are met
* Support project planning, risk identification, constructability reviews and contract administration
* Monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, variations, claims and progress reporting
* Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements, project management plans and HOTO obligations
Qualifications
* Degree qualification in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline
* Proven experience delivering construction projects within a complex or regulated environment
* Strong understanding of cost control, forecasting, contract administration and reporting
* Ability to build effective relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
* A proactive, safety-focused mindset aligned to quality, delivery and continuous improvement
