Overview
The Risk Manager will lead enterprise risk initiatives with a clear focus on technology, product, and regulatory assurance. This role will shape risk practices across engineering, product, data and operations. The role shapes enterprise risk for a global software organization and partners directly with executives to embed risk into strategy, product, and growth.
Responsibilities
* Own and uplift CPS 230, CPS 234 and operational risk frameworks across a product-led SaaS environment.
* Drive ISO27001, SOC2 and global assurance programs to support enterprise client demands.
* Partner with Product, Engineering, Security and Legal to align regulatory frameworks with product development and customer delivery.
* Provide high-impact reporting to Executives, the Board and global clients.
* Embed a culture of proactive risk management and resilience across business units.
About You
You are a risk professional with experience in software, SaaS, FinTech, RegTech or payments — or from consulting with clients in these sectors. You combine regulatory depth (CPS 230/234, APRA/ASIC, ISO/SOC2) with technology and product know-how, and can bridge the gap between frameworks and agile delivery.
Ideal Background
* Risk & Compliance leadership in SaaS, FinTech, RegTech or digital platforms.
* Exposure to CPS 230/234, ISO 27001, SOC 2 or equivalent frameworks.
* Strong stakeholder management, able to influence Product, Engineering and Executive stakeholders.
* Prior consulting experience or background in insurance/financial services risk (desirable but not essential).
Why Join?
This is a chance to step into a SaaS organization where risk management is not a tick-box, but a strategic enabler of growth, trust and client confidence.
