This role involves technical tasks such as HV switching, project coordination, on-call support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will directly contribute to the safety and reliability of Queensland's power network by maintaining critical secondary systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate projects with leaders and teams
* Communicate effectively, solve problems collaboratively, and ensure team alignment
* Develop strong relationships across Powerlink to deliver excellent results for customers
* Perform HV switching and secondary systems work to ensure network efficiency
* Participate in the on-call team to resolve system issues promptly
* Contribute to process improvements through reports and procedures
* Plan jobs, manage resources, and collaborate with schedulers to prevent issues
* Maintain environmental protection and compliance requirements
