**About the role**
The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for supporting one of the company's key commercial/industrial portfolios, which includes business parks and industrial estates. You will provide day-to-day property and facilities services to ensure the successful operation of these property assets.
They are looking for a confident and committed team player who can contribute to a culture of outstanding customer service and accountability.
The role is based in Brisbane, and interstate travel will also be required.
**Key duties**:
As a vital member of the company's Asset team, you will assist the Property Manager and Portfolio Manager in ensuring the overall success of the portfolio.
- Maintain a high level of customer service focus with a proven ability to establish strong relationships, anticipate customer (tenant) requirements, and provide a high level of service to meet our customers' needs.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with all internal teams, including finance, operations, and leasing.
- Liaise with the Facilities Management team and external building contractors regarding technical building issues and value-add opportunities.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and cash flow budgets.
- Ensure tenant interactions are recorded in the customer relations system.
- Prepare written reports and recommendations based on technical building information.
- Manage tenant arrears.
- Develop and utilise a strong working knowledge of building services and real estate market activities, developments, and trends.

**Skills & experience**:
- At least two (2) years of working experience in commercial and industrial property sectors.
- Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make recommendations to senior management.
- Some understanding of relevant property/leasing laws and property investment principles.
- Understanding of and ability to interpret technical building information and plans.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Passionate and driven to work in this industry.
