As an Allied Health Professional (Hold full Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and / or be an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist), you will effectively engage, screen, assess, refer and provide evidence based psychological interventions and care coordination for young people aged ***** years and their family and friends that contact or are referred to headspace.As one of the first contact points for young people, you will need to build a positive rapport with a wide range of young people, as well as their family and friends.
Allied Health Professionals are part of collaborative multi-disciplinary team, as such the successful candidate requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion.The Allied Health Professional will need to be skilled in assessing a young person's needs, including complex risk assessments and the ability to action a plan to mitigate any identified risk.The Allied Health Professional will participate in regular clinical supervision and will be required to present and discuss cases with the multidisciplinary team.
