Forbes St Vet is seeking a confident, capable Senior Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV or equivalent) to join our dedicated and supportive team.
Overview
This is a hands-on senior nursing position in a modern, well-equipped clinic. You will play an important role in supporting our veterinarians, and maintaining high clinical and patient care standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring
* Patient recovery and hospital case management
* Nurse consultations and client education
* Assisting with medical workups and diagnostics
* Coordinating treatment plans and hospital workflow
* Stock control and maintaining clinical standards
* General nursing and cleaning duties
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
* 3+ years' experience in a veterinary clinic
* Strong anaesthetic monitoring and patient care skills
* Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
* Leadership qualities and a positive, team-focused attitude
* A calm, organised and proactive approach to tasks
