The Company
BCI Minerals Limited (ASX:BCI) is an Australian owned mineral resources company with salt and potash as its initial focus. A future Tier One project, Mardie has been designed to produce 5.35Mtpa of high-purity salt and 140ktpa of Sulphate of Potash (SOP).

The Role
The Maintenance Superintendent will design and implement a maintenance program, including equipment inspections, to ensure plant and equipment comply with BCI standards. You'll develop and manage short, medium, and long-term maintenance plans to optimise plant efficiency and meet production targets. You will be required to oversee work management processes, such as planning, scheduling, and follow-up of maintenance tasks. You'll also monitor maintenance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and fostering a safety culture among staff is essential. You'll provide expert technical and financial advice on selecting new equipment to meet production needs and collaborate with procurement and logistics for smooth operations. You will diagnose equipment faults, implement effective solutions to minimise downtime, and manage the maintenance budget. This includes cost-benefit analyses on repairs versus replacements.
Additionally, you will provide input for commercial tenders and maintain supplier contracts to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
You will also need to ensure the use of asset management systems (such as Pronto) to track and manage equipment throughout its lifecycle.
