The Beachouse… South Australia's largest Family Entertainment Complex, located on the foreshore in Glenelg. We are all about FUN With attractions such as Dodgem Cars, Waterslides, Bumper Boats, 2 levels of Arcade & Redemption games, Mini Golf, a historic Carousel, Indoor Play Castle and much more, The Beachouse is the place for the ultimate family fun day out.
We are on the hunt for a Senior Technician to help us maintain and repair amusement devices/games and electrical/mechanical equipment within the complex.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Preventative maintenance on all amusement rides (Dodgem Cars, Bumper Boats, Carousel etc) and arcade/redemption games on a periodical basis. This includes both electrical and mechanical maintenance on all devices.
* Repairs and replacement of attraction components on Dodgem Cars, Arcade/Redemption Games, Carousel, Train, Bumper Boats etc.
* Maintaining all electrical amusement devices within the complex including their electronic control systems.
* Adjusting, calibrating, aligning, and modifying circuitry and components within amusements games/rides and record the effects on unit performance.
* Implementation and ongoing maintenance of specific amusement POS and operating system ensuring optimum performance for the venue.
* Installation and ongoing maintenance of internal security systems.
* Maintain and repair of all office computers and computer controlled devices and other electrical equipment such as POS devices, printers, routers, switches and the like.
* Control and maintain (implementing new systems if necessary) automatic controllers on site.
* Maintain and repair all audio-visual electrical components within the complex.
* Educating operators on the safe and appropriate use of all mechanical and electrical systems.
A desire to grow and be involved in all processes associated with your role is essential. Also, having a hands-on approach and a positive attitude towards all responsibilities is crucial.
Previous relative experience in amusement ride & game maintenance and operation, along with electronics and maintenance is required.
