Collections Officer – Immediate Start (2-Month Contract) Office-based | Leave Cover | ASAP Start
We’re urgently seeking an experienced Collections Officer to step into a busy AR team covering planned leave. This is a back-to-back phone-based role, ideal for someone confident, resilient, and happy to be on the phones all day.
Training & handover provided before the incumbent goes on leave on 16 February.
The role:
You’ll be responsible for high-volume collections activity, ensuring outstanding balances are followed up promptly and professionally.
Key responsibilities:
* High-volume collections via outbound phone calls (50+ calls per day)
* Managing debtor conversations, payment follow-ups and dispute escalation
* Supporting wider AR tasks such as invoicing, releasing orders and account maintenance
* Performing account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies
* Using Excel for data analysis (VLOOKUPs, pivots, reporting)
About you:
* Proven collections and reconciliations experience
* Strong communication skills – confident on the phone
* Solid Excel capability (VLOOKUPs & pivot tables)

* Start: ASAP (can start immediately)
* End date: 2 April (2-month contract)
* Location: Turella - 5 days in the office
* Reason: Leave cover
* Handover: Yes – training provided
* Free parking onsite
