Senior Social Media Specialist
As Senior Social Media Specialist, you will play a key role in bringing Domain's social strategy to life across our channels. You will be a passionate social content expert, staying up to date with the latest social trends and best practices, and producing end‐to‐end social media content that drives audience acquisition, brand engagement and revenue goals. You will support the Social Media Manager in translating marketing goals into engaging social activity that supports our key customer segments, and partner with stakeholders across the business to deliver a best‐in‐class social content experience on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
What You Will Be Doing
* Support the implementation of the Domain Group's social strategy across Domain, All Homes and Commercial Real Estate.
* Assist the Social Media Manager and Head of Production in daily social media operations, including content creation, curation, content calendar management, video production and reporting.
* Monitor social campaigns and always‐on activity, providing feedback and analytics to stakeholders to drive efficiencies and optimisations.
* Work closely with the Digital Acquisition team to ensure effective and cost‐efficient delivery of social content campaigns.
* Support the delivery of social strategies and assets for Customer Segment Marketing (Consumer & Agent) and represent Social at regular marketing forums.
* Proactively generate and pitch editorial and video ideas to the Content Marketing and Video teams that support audience acquisition, brand engagement and revenue goals across our social channels.
* Manage risk, reputation and crisis across social media in partnership with Customer Service, PR & Communications, Legal and external agency partners.
* Champion and educate the wider business on social best practice, and provide recommendations on emerging social channels, tools and trends.
Ideal Candidate
* Comprehensive knowledge of current and upcoming social media trends, platform best practice, demographics and deployment scenarios.
* Strong visual eye for photography and video production.
* Experience managing and influencing multiple stakeholders to drive optimal outcomes.
* Creative thinker with a passion for pop‐culture, lifestyle and social media trends.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Degree in Marketing, Communications or Media.
* 5+ years' experience in social media or content marketing.
* Experience creating and scheduling content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
* Experience working in multimedia production, including video and photography.
* On‐screen confidence and end‐to‐end content creation skills; ability to feature as on‐camera talent and self‐edit Reels and TikToks.
* Experience with WordPress, Hootsuite, Later and Canva is highly favoured.
