**The Librarian, Information and Client Services role, within the Information Services branch is responsible for delivering information services to visitors and clients onsite and online.In this role you will be the friendly and knowledgeable face State Library clients turn to for guidance on accessing and using State Library's resources and services.
We are looking for passionate client-focused librarians dedicated to providing access to information through our reference services, onsite and online.
A relevant/related degree and eligibility for professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
Strong technical skills to assist a diverse client base in the use of a range of equipment
The ability to effectively search, navigate and assist clients in the use of State Library resources
The ability to be responsive to change in a fast-paced work environment
