About The Job
We are seeking a motivated and reliable HR Truck Driver to join our Kalamunda-based team.
This role involves operating pump trucks and undertaking a variety of liquid waste servicing tasks, including grease trap cleaning.
This is a hands-on role that requires early morning starts (4:00am) but offers the benefit of early finishes and being home every night.
We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.
On A Typical Day
Our HR Drivers are responsible for:
Servicing grease traps and pumping septic tanks across the Perth metro area
Completing daily vehicle pre-start checks and reporting any defects
Maintaining accurate records, including controlled waste tracking forms and service receipts
Operating pump equipment, hoses, and associated tools safely and efficiently
Working with clients in the fast food and restaurant industries, as well as other commercial sites
Key Responsibilities
Safe operation of HR vehicles in compliance with road and environmental regulations
Performing manual handling tasks, including connecting/disconnecting hoses and handling equipment
Adhering to SG Enviro's safety and environmental procedures
Communicating effectively with clients and the operations team
Working both independently and as part of a small team
Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking candidates with the following skills and attributes:
Valid HR Driver's Licence (essential)
Controlled Waste Licence – highly regarded, but training provided
Good knowledge of the Perth metropolitan area (advantageous)
Physically fit and able to manage pump hoses and equipment
Energetic, reliable, and honest with a strong work ethic
Ability to work autonomously and problem-solve on the job
Strong communication skills and a professional approach
Australian citizenship or permanent residency (essential)
Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded, though full training will be provided to the right candidate.
