Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Site Foreman to join our Brisbane delivery team.
You will play an important role in coordinating day‑to‑day site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, to program and in line with specifications, drawings and quality requirements. Working closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager and subcontractor partners, you will oversee construction sequencing, site logistics, resource planning and field readiness while maintaining strong relationships with trades, suppliers and stakeholders onsite.
What You'll Do
You'll be responsible for supervising and coordinating site-based delivery activities, including:
* Supervising trades and site labour to ensure safe and efficient delivery
* Monitoring workmanship against drawings, specifications and codes
* Maintaining short‑term programs, site diaries and daily coordination records
* Managing site safety, inductions, compliance and reporting requirements
* Coordinating materials, plant and equipment and monitoring preliminaries spend
* Supporting consultant inspections, authority access and closure of defects
* Communicating regularly with subcontractors and supporting site meetings
What You'll Bring
You'll be responsible for supervising and coordinating site-based delivery activities, including:
* 5+ years' experience in a Site Foreman / General Foreman or similar supervisory role
* Proven background delivering commercial construction projects (essential)
* Strong leadership and people management capability
* Good understanding of trade interfaces and construction sequencing
* Ability to prioritise, solve problems and make decisions in a busy site environment
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with subcontractors and clients
* QBCC Builder Open Site Supervisor licence (recommended)
