Job Overview:
As a professional with experience in analytics, you will contribute to the development of human and machine experiences for data and analytics tools and processes.
You will be responsible for
* Supporting project plans around reporting and analytics tools, information dashboards, data visualizations, data modeling, and other end-user information portals or resources.
* Providing technology-based data reporting tools and management for business segments or large-scale systems.
* Generating ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for business-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. Integrating data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements.
* Programming and maintaining report forms and formats, information dashboards, datasets, canned reports, and other end-user information portals or resources.
* Planning, designing, and executing performance tests.
* Gathering business and functional specifications and/or capturing requirements from various client stakeholders.
Your technical/non-technical skills include
* Proficiency with visual data tools like Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.
* Demonstrable professional experience with data mining, analysis, and modeling of large-scale, complex data sets.
* Proficiency with SQL for generating and extracting data for use in analytics and reporting. Interpreting results using various techniques, ranging from simple exploratory data analysis to statistical modeling.
* Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
* Experience partnering on analytics-related sales pursuits.
* Client consulting and project-leadership experience working with third-party clients is preferred but not essential.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or Information Technology, or another relevant field is likely desired. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also suffice.
Some relevant work experience, professional or through coursework, is preferred.
