About the role
We are currently seeking a Senior Document Controller to join our Unite32 team.
Laing O'Rourke has been appointed by the Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority (GIICA) as the Delivery Partner for the $7.1bn Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games Venues Infrastructure Program. This achievement is celebrated with our joint venture partner AECOM, as part of the Unite32 consortium, a strategic team formed specifically to deliver the 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Key responsibilities
* Expedite the review and approval of documentation, including designs, procedures, instructions, product certification and records.
* Training stakeholders in use of relevant systems and processes.
* Participation at relevant subcontractor meetings to reinforce responsibilities with respect to document control.
* Coordinate storage and archiving of project and organisational records.
* Participate in the planning of projects as required.
* Assist wider team members with system issues, document formation and other process requirements.
About you
* Document Control experience in an Engineering / Construction environment.
* Experience with Document Management systems (Asite or TeamBinder etc).
* A detailed understanding of Document Control principles and processes and their application to:
* Design, delivery, redline and as-built.
* EDMS/IMS configuration and management.
* Workflow management.
* Vendor data management.
