We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our fast paced branch as the first point of contact for our customers and suppliers. This is an entry-level position, with full training and ongoing support provided to ensure your success in the role, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the foodservice industry.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office and reception area. No two days are ever the same in foodservice, and you’ll thrive in a dynamic environment where teamwork and initiative are highly valued.
Key duties include:
* General administration and office duties
* Greeting and assisting customers
* Processing orders accurately and efficiently
* Assisting with customer collections
* Acting as the first point of contact for incoming calls
* Responding to Sales Representative enquiries via phone and email
Skills and Experience:
* Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel a large requirement
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Success in managing multiple and diverse tasks
* Offer a high level of customer service to all stake holders
* Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
Sales experience and an understanding of the foodservice industry or an allied industry would be an advantage.
