SAP Technical and Development Lead
As an experienced SAP Technical Lead, you will play a key role in the implementation of template solutions across various systems, including SAP ECC, SAP Commerce, and SuccessFactors. This is a contract-based position that offers strong potential for long-term extension, working within a diverse SAP application landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
* Technical Implementation: Lead the technical implementation of template solutions across systems, ensuring seamless integrations with internal systems, customers, banks, and transport/carrier platforms.
* Alignment and Standardization: Ensure alignment between functional design and technical build, balancing standardisation with business requirements.
* Design Integrity: Uphold design integrity across all deployments and resolve technical conflicts as they arise.
* Platform Expertise: Provide expert recommendations on platform capabilities, constraints, and enhancements.
* Development Management: Manage development activities across internal teams and external vendors (ABAP, PI/PO, BTP, APIs, EDI).
* Technical Specifications: Oversee technical specifications, test scripts, interface builds, and design reviews to ensure high coding quality.
* Environment Management: Enforce environment management standards and support performance tuning & system stability.
* Governance Representation: Represent the technical stream in governance forums, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture and security policies.
* Test Planning: Contribute to test planning, defect management, cutover, and hypercare readiness.
* Traceability: Maintain traceability from requirements through to technical deployment.
* Technical Support: Partner with site IT teams and vendors through rollout phases, providing expert technical support.
The ideal candidate should have experience in leading technical implementation, managing development activities, and providing expert recommendations on platform capabilities. They should also be able to uphold design integrity, enforce environment management standards, and represent the technical stream in governance forums.
