About The Opportunity
South Western Sydney Local Health District is recruiting for an Electrical Tradesperson to complement and enhance the current Engineering Department. What You'll Be Doing
To provide high quality services and support to the health service, patients and visitors.
To undertake provisions of electrical safety, preventative, corrective and statutory maintenance to plant and equipment as directed.
Working within a team of trade staff and providing support to other trades, engineering and administration staff as required.

How To Apply

* Completion of a full electrical apprentice / trade qualification with extensive experience post apprenticeship in electrical reticulation installations, plant / equipment. Possesses electrical supervisors certificate.
* Previous experience in the maintenance of large commercial buildings and their associated plant.
* Ability to interpret and utilise electrical wiring and schematic drawings in equipment installation and repairs.
* Demonstrated computer literacy and good communication skills.
* A working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards including but not limited to AS3000 and AS3003.
* Desired experience with industrial control systems.
* Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and independently initiate and priorities actions to complete complex tasks.
* Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
