About The Opportunity
A prominent national construction company with a strong presence is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee commercial construction projects in the Bendigo region ranging from $1M to $50M. Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
* Prioritize health and safety, striving for zero Lost Time Incidents (LTIs) and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
* Oversee on-site operations, coordinating workforce resourcing and productivity, including labor schedules.
* Procure equipment and materials, maintaining accurate cost and quantity control within budget constraints.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
* Implement effective quality control techniques and ensure compliance with company policies and legislative requirements.
* Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to on-site teams to achieve performance expectations.
What We're Looking For
* A trade-qualified professional with a minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial construction.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead by example and foster a collaborative team environments
* Strong planning, organizational, and time management abilities.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A clear understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements and conflict resolution skills.
