What You'll Be Doing
You'll combine advanced technology, critical thinking, and customer service skills to deliver world-class aviation security:
* X-Ray Screening & Analysis– Accurately interpret complex X-ray images to detect prohibited items
* Physical Inspections– Conduct frisk searches, bag checks and Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) procedures
* Access Control & Monitoring– Manage secure entry points using metal detectors and risk-based decision making
* Customer Service Excellence– Provide calm, professional assistance in dynamic airport environments
* Incident Response– Respond to alarms and security incidents in line with strict protocols
* Compliance & Reporting– Maintain accurate logs and adhere to CASA and aviation security regulations

What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
* Security Licence if you have one
* Valid Driver Licence and reliable transport
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Professional presentation
* Ability to remain calm and manage conflict under pressure
* Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
