**The Opportunity**
On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency based in Robina, we are looking for an APS5 Integrity Officer to join the Claims and Payments team on a 12 month assignment. This role will be Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week paying $55.24 per hour plus super.
Joining the Claims and Payments team the role is responsible for payments assurance control testing for this department's programs. The role will focus on engaging with providers and participants for the purpose of obtaining information and supporting evidence for assurance testing activities on sampled payments.
**Responsibilities include;**
- Undertaking control and conformance testing of the department's payment programs.
- Provide input to appropriate assurance and compliance reports to articulate outcomes of reviews and actions required including delivering compliance decisions.
- Modifying test documentation (Test Guides and Test Forms) to ensure assurance program relevancy.
- Undertaking reviews of targeted claims through engagement with providers, plan managers and participants.
- Contribute to the design of new detective and preventative controls using a combination of manual validation check and systematic analytics.
- Work with various teams to investigate, report on and escalate claims and payment anomalies.

- Ability to work autonomously, exercising strong initiative and judgement to interpret legislation and policy
- Sound communications during peak business demand across a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to establish and maintain internal and external relationships
