It’s no easy task, but nothing rewarding ever is.What You’ll DoThis position will manage daily interactions with landholders and community stakeholders to support Santos’ land access and business goals. The role ensures best practice methods are used to secure timely access and build sustainable relationships, enabling low-risk progression of petroleum activities.This position is located in Roma. 12 Month Max Term Contract.Key Accountabilities IncludeUphold and ensure compliance with Santos Values and company standards.Set and achieve personal performance and development goals.Identify and implement process improvements or support change initiatives.Communicate clearly, share knowledge, and provide/receive feedback.Build early relationships with landholders to inform them of proposed activities and impacts.Assist in negotiations, ensuring full understanding of agricultural operations.Maintain strong relationships with landholders and key stakeholders.Support Santos’ community engagement and social license to operate.Provide field and community input into planning, consultation, and rehabilitation.Communicate Santos’ business and land access processes to landholders and communities.Monitor and uphold commitments made to landholders.Support Brisbane team in negotiations and dispute resolution.Assess and approve Site Permit Requests per agreements and codes.What You’ll BringThe ideal candidate will have demonstrated practical experience in a similar role or function and have a high level of interpersonal and communication skills. Your ability to negotiate, influence outcomes, and prioritise is essential, along with:Ability to have honest confidential communication throughout complex situations to a range of audiences.Strong understanding of rural communities, rural land practices and the agricultural sector.
