0.6 FTE part time role, fixed term position for 12 months at Headspace CamperdownResearch support position to support young people in accessing mental health care through a digital platform$103,185 Base + 17% SuperannuationAbout the opportunityThe Research Officer (Youth Mental Health) will join our multidisciplinary team at Headspace Camperdown and work closely with the Youth Mental Health and Technology team to provide digital navigation support to young people accessing care both within our clinical service and research trials. The role is to guide and educate young people about the use of the digital mental health interventions and facilitate the general use of digital technologies in a young person's mental health care. This includes working directly on digital health platforms, preparing relevant educational materials, working with clinicians, academics and youth mental health service providers, and contributing to the efficient operation of the research work.This is an exciting opportunity to join a collegial, supportive and inclusive team, where you'll play a vital role in improving outcomes for young people and their mental health, through the use of the 'Innowell' digital platform.Your key responsibilities will be to:join a tight-knit team to work closely with the young people with lived experience and their carerssupport clinical care teams and their clients by providing education and digital navigation for the 'Innowell' platformliaise with participants to engage in digital health technology services, including the implementation of digital technology and education and trainingprovide administrative services and support to the clinical team and research team where needed. This includes coordinating research meetings, preparing agendas and minutesengage young people in using digital tools to support their mental health journey working collaboratively with the clinical team communicating any relevant escalationco-ordinate data management processes, ensuring thorough analysis and reporting that drives research insightsstrengthen partnerships with key stakeholders, enhancing research collaborations and joint initiativesstreamline administrative processes, ensuring efficient management of research documentation, publications, and compliance paperworkAbout youdemonstrated experience in working in youth mental healthexperience working in a research-intensive environment or higher education sectorfamiliarity with technology and data administrationstrong administration and reporting expertiseability to manage, report and disseminate research dataexcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships quickly with all stakeholdersholding a valid Working with Children Check.To keep our community safe, please be aware of our COVID safety precautions which form our conditions of entry for all staff, students and visitors coming to campus.This position is designated as involving child-related work.
