Role Description
This is a hybrid role for a Speech Therapist, based in Melbourne, VIC, combination of in-home community and telehealth (remote) caseload. This role will provide speech language and swallowing assessment, reports and associated therapy across a diverse caseload of teens through to older adults. The role also includes working collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals, as well as contributing to ongoing program development and maintaining accurate records of therapy interventions.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor of Speech Pathology
Current professional membership with Speech Pathology Australia
Proficiency in managing dysphagia and assessing swallowing difficulties
Experience working with Communication Disorders and Language Disorders
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and team collaboration
Experience delivering services via telehealth
Current drivers license and open to travel 30-45 mins within community
Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment
Experience working with aged care (community) or NDIS clients is a plus
