About the Role
WorkPac is seeking an After Sales Care Manager for a permanent position, Perth based. This role is offering flexible working arrangements and regular site travel. In this role you will oversee the delivery of service and support across national sites, proactively driving customer outreach, planned maintenance and spare parts sales opportunities, whilst ensuring work is completed safely, on time, to the required quality standard, and to the full satisfaction of customers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of coordination for all field service, installation, and repair activities across allocated sites/regions
* Supervise and support on-site crews to ensure jobs are completed safely, to customer quality expectations, and within agreed timeframes and budgets
* Proactively lead and motivate field teams, clearly communicating scope, schedule, and deliverables in line with project plans
* Spend significant time in the field building rapport with crews, monitoring progress, identifying risks or roadblocks early, and implementing immediate corrective actions
* Serve as the key customer interface on-site: provide regular progress updates, manage expectations, and resolve technical or operational issues promptly
* Respond rapidly to urgent callouts or post-installation technical problems with practical, effective solutions
* Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and site-specific requirements at all times
* Liaise closely with Project Managers, internal support teams, and subcontractors to ensure a smooth handover from project delivery
* Contribute to the development and refinement of field service processes, tools, and best practices
* Identify and pursue upsell/cross-sell opportunities for additional equipment, parts, or service agreements through strong customer and site relationships
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with regional vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
* Assist with operational reporting, documentation, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives as required
* Provide coaching, guidance, and technical support to field technicians and coordinate training where needed
* Identifying opportunities for additional product sales and service agreements through effective relationship management and networking
Skills and Experience Required
* Trade qualifications, coupled with certification and training in front-line management, effectively utilised in the field
* Strong hands‑on technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical product issues
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate field crews in demanding, remote, or high‑pressure site conditions
* Excellent customer facing skills with a track record of building trust and achieving high customer satisfaction scores
* Solid understanding of workplace health and safety practices and the ability to enforce safe work methods on site
* Experience managing schedules, scopes, and budgets across multiple concurrent projects or sites
* Highly developed problem‑solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly under pressure
* Strong commercial awareness with experience identifying and converting upsell/service agreement opportunities
* Proficient with field service software, mobile reporting tools, MS Office, and basic project management applications
* Current driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively (including regional and remote areas) and be away from home as required
