Responsibilities
The Mine Production Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise to the Phosphate Hill Mining Operations as well as fulfilling all functional requirements covered by the Mine Production Coordinator.
* Ensures compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, procedures and objectives
* Safely delivers mining objectives in accordance with the A3
* Develops and implements short to long term mine plans
* Maintains efficiency and maximises Mining Contract deliverables
* Coordinates mining activities to achieve business objectives
* Prepares and communicates high level reports using Company business systems
What You'll Bring
* You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture
* Degree qualification in Mining Engineering
* Intimate knowledge of legislated safety requirements applicable to mining activities
* High level of computer literacy particularly in Surpac, MS Office, Excel and SAP business systems knowledge
* Experience with Desvik CAD (Preferred)
* Mine Site Safety Supervisor (G1, G8 and G9), formerly known as QMS 123
